This piece sure does "Dig" deep into the realm of Apophysis! I've personally never seen anything quite like it before, and am seriously impressed by the immensity of details presented through the high complexity of this fractal's structure.
With such an apocalyptic palette and enticingly chaotic display of rampaging shapes, =mutequacky gives us an abstract and engaging view of what could very well be a doomsday scene, seen from either high up in the clouds, or deep below the surface, as the title points to. Though the more I look at it, the more I see those two views fusing together. It's as if we're observing a blood-red sky clashing with an aquifer, and everything in between being consumed by some previously unseen type of massive electrical storm.
Ohh, so glad to see this is up now! I love how it kinda looks like it could have come from UF. It's the "solidity" that does it. I'm looking at the full download view and I just keep drinking in the details...

A killer deviation and nothing less! Well done!
